Iran-Armenia film 'Yeva' star has won award at 2018 Kinoshok International Film Festival.
Narine Grigoryan, the actress who portrayed the character of Yeva in the movie has grabbed the Best Actress award at the latest edition of the event which was held in Russia.
The film directed by Anahid Abad is about ‘Yeva’, a woman who is under prosecution in connection with her husband’s murder, faces challenges in her life.
The flick which has been financed by the National Cinema Center of Armenia and Farabi Cinema Foundation was picked as the Armenian National Film Academy to be presented to the 90th Academy Awards.
'Yeva' has been screened in several international events including the Mill Valley Film Festival in the US.
The 2018 edition of Kinoshok- Open Film Festival for the states of the CIS and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania was held in September.
